Denne privatlivspolitik beskriver, hvordan FindPsyk (findpsyk.dk) indsamler, behandler og beskytter personoplysninger. Vi er forpligtet til at beskytte dit privatliv i overensstemmelse med EU's Databeskyttelsesforordning (GDPR).
Data Controller
FindPsyk is the data controller for the personal data we process. You can contact us at [email protected] regarding data protection inquiries.
What data do we collect?
We collect publicly available information about psychologists from Danish psychologist registries (name, address, specialties, contact information, authorization number). When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (encrypted). When using the search function, we process your search parameters to deliver relevant results.
Legal basis
We process psychologists' publicly available professional information based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Account information is processed based on contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Essential cookies (session) are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
Psychologist data from public sources
We collect publicly available professional information about psychologists from Danish psychologist registries. This data includes name, clinic address, specialties, contact information, and authorization number. Psychologists can claim their profile to update or supplement the information. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Cookies and local storage
We use an encrypted httpOnly session cookie for authentication. We use localStorage to save your language preferences, favorites, and comparison selections. We do not use any tracking cookies.
Behavioral analytics
To understand how the service is used and where users encounter problems, we collect aggregated statistics about interactions with findpsyk.dk: search terms, applied filters, result counts, clicks on search results, profile views, and clicks on phone/email/website links. For each event we store a daily-rotating SHA-256 hash of your IP address and your browser's User-Agent. We never store your raw IP address and never any data that directly identifies you. The hash resets every day, making cross-day tracking technically impossible. This data is retained for up to 24 months and then automatically deleted. We also use Umami Cloud (umami.is, EU-hosted) for high-level page-view statistics — Umami is privacy-friendly and sets no cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may also file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
Data security
We use encrypted communication (HTTPS), passwords are stored with secure hashing, and session tokens are stored in encrypted httpOnly cookies. Our systems are hosted in the EU (Azure West Europe).
Data retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Psychologist profiles are updated weekly from public sources. Aggregated behavioral statistics (see section above) are retained for up to 24 months and then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

What personal data does FindPsyk collect?
We collect publicly available professional information about psychologists (name, address, specialties, contact information). For account holders, we collect email and encrypted password. We also collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics — see the behavioral analytics section.
Does FindPsyk use cookies?
We only use an encrypted session cookie for login and localStorage for your preferences. We do not use any tracking cookies.
Am I being tracked on findpsyk.dk?
We collect aggregated statistics on searches, clicks, and profile views to improve the service, but we never link the data to an identifiable user. We store a daily-rotating hash of your IP address — never the raw IP — and the hash resets every 24 hours, so we cannot follow you across days.
How can I get my data deleted?
Contact us at [email protected] and we will delete your data. Psychologists can also request removal of their profile.
