About FindPsyk
FindPsyk is an independent, free directory of psychologists in Denmark. We are not a clinic, a booking system or a referral service — we gather publicly available information in one place so you can search, compare and get in touch yourself.
What is FindPsyk?
FindPsyk exists because finding the right psychologist in Denmark is needlessly hard. Price, wait time, health-insurance subsidy (ydernummer), specialty and therapy method are scattered across many different sites, and few people have the energy to ring around when they are already struggling.
So we collect it all in one searchable directory. It is free to use, and no sign-in is needed to search. The ranking is not for sale: the up to three sponsored profiles at the top of the first page are always clearly labelled as sponsored, and every other position is decided by relevance.
Where does our data come from?
Profiles are built from publicly available information in five psychologist directories:
- Psykologer i Danmark
- Psykologoversigt
- sundhed.dk
- Psykologbogen
- TerapeutMatch
We collect and merge the information automatically, and the data is updated weekly. Where a profile names a source, the presentation text comes from there — not from us. We cannot guarantee that every detail is correct or current, so always confirm price and wait time with the psychologist before you book.
Are you a psychologist?
Your profile is yours. Create an account, claim the profile and correct the details: add a presentation and a photo, and keep price and wait time up to date.
If you would rather have something corrected without creating an account — or want your profile removed entirely — write to us. We delete profiles on request.
Our guides and editorial policy
Guides and articles on FindPsyk are written by the FindPsyk editorial team. We name the sources we build on — usually the Danish Health Authority, sundhed.dk, the Danish Psychological Association and the regions' fee agreements — and every guide shows when it was last updated.
The content is general information, not medical or psychological advice. It cannot replace a conversation with your own doctor or a psychologist and should not be used to make a diagnosis. If you need urgent help, contact your doctor, the out-of-hours medical service or call 112.
